doing that kind of take off would put a huge amount of strain on the trans, at least in the long term. I'm wondering how STi owners are making out, the ones that drive their cars hard. I saw a website once that showed all the parts to do a STi-WRX complete conversion....yikes, quite a undertaking! I kid you not, one could get a low miles Sti used for cheaper than a new WRX, and subsequently plopping a complete drivetrain and associated wiring into it;-)
