Has anyone experienced their transmission jumping out of gear at high speed?
My Sonett III just started this a few days ago. 4th gear highway speed ....70mph , when I back of the gas a bit ,"bamb" it jumps out of gear. It will go right back into gear and drive with no trouble . The car will drive just fine for miles with no issues and then out of the blue it will jump out of gear. it starting to drive me a little nuts.
I checked all the shift linkage pins, bushings etc. The bracket bolts are tight. I checked the rear motor mount and its tight.
Do you think it could be the transmission just needs adjusting or is this a sign that its time for major repair?
Thanks for your time,
Moon
