Thanks PFrank those pics are most helpful. Our floor has no obvious holes for them, so we’ll have to drill. My son did get his new exhaust on finally. As all of you know, the manual is minimally helpful. It basically says ‘take the old exhaust off and put the new one on the same way” which is of no help when you’re replacing a field installation with an original system.
Anyway, the new system sounds fantastic and much smoother that what was on the car. We bought the OEM copy system from Club Sonett Sweden and it was very well made. Price of the system and shipping was cheap. Only caveat is that the joints aren’t as easy to fit as they should be: plan on a trip to a friendly muffler shop to get things stretched a bit.
Also, CSS doesn’t have install kits but other sites do if you need rubber mounts and stuff.
