I bought this car to turn over to my daughter in a few years, and have been very happy with it (Thank you Mike Lynch!!).
I find the handling to be quite a bit crisper then our 99 9-5SE 2.3LPT. As part of my responsibility to 'road test' the car (:)), I have found that the ESP can kick in just a tad bit too soon sometimes. This could be because of the stock 16" P6's (yep Mike, I still don't like this generation of P6's), are not one of the better wet handling tires.
I highly recommend the 9-3SS be road tested. When this car goes to my daughter next year, I have the convertible versions of the 9-3AERO, A4, BMW 330 and Merc 320CLK on the short list for over seas delivery.
I'll be visiting Mike in the months ahead to road test the Saab and Beemer's.
Both the 9-3, and 9-5, keep getting better and better as time goes by...
Regards to all,
9-3/9-5 Smitty
