I don't care what any SUV manufacturer is doing with engine tricks to improve gas mileage (which are also used in cars), there is no way in real world driving that a less aerodynamic, 1000 pound heavier vehicle is going to get close to the gas mileage of a 9-5.
And I don't lecture many people on gas mileage. It is important to me and I personally think it should be more important to more people. But if gas mileage was all I was concerned about, I would be driving a hybrid. But MDX's and SUVs generally are poor environmental choices.
