buy another. I also have an '03 aero wagon, and the list of mechanicals is growing: AC compressor, 1st time I used it, alternator & idler pulley with 2100 miles on car, tranny needs SECOND update, passenger window motor/assembly STILL needs replacing, and will fail, throttle response, PCV valve fiasco, emblem peeled off hood, and replaced bi-xenon.

NOW other than that, the car is fantastic, and a sheer joy to drive, especially when the college kids in their accords/eclipses/acuras/mustangs/SVT's come calling. They can not believe that a station wagon will beat them resoundingly, or in the case of the mustang, keep up and be MUCH more stable!

The safety of the Saab line is the best in the business. The ability to fly under the radar, is priceless. The looks of: "Saab makes a wagon??!!", are worth the price of admission.

My Jetta GLX had more trouble than this Saab will EVER have, but I loved it anyway. As for maintenance, I will do as much as I can after warranty runs out, but because of the new Saab engine warranty, will be loath to even change my oil. I WILL carry a spare DI Dean, but not until my warranty runs out.

These are fantastic cars, and one should be in our stable for a LONG time!
