I have two 2002 saabs one an aero the other a linear I downloaded the motor oil bible and all the acea sheets and all the literature on the topic of synthetics and I have concluded that Amsoil is the way to go. I want to know your opinions on a 0w-30 synthetic and since the 9-3 user manual says 0w-30 in bold print this reconfirmed my faith in 30 vs 40 weight oil. However the 9-5 is iron block and the tolerances may not be as tight since the 9-3 is a completely new engine. I howver have 2 new 9-5's and I know that the Falls Church guy sells the stuff and can recommend it. Is there anyone else with success stories using Amsoil 0w-30. I live near Seattle the temps i encounter are rarely over 105 for a week at most in Oregon. Plus since exxon-mobile had the oil spill in Alaska I have boycotted them as a greedy irresponsable company. Any compliments on the amsoil line and 0w-30 series racing oil appreciated.
