Since I know that California have this extended emission warranty, and most part of that warranty is to repair emission related problems.

Why wouldn't the DI cassette be covered under this 7 year 70K warranty, when the Trionic and TCM ECU and catalytic converter is. I think even the EVAP system of gas tank is covered.

A misfiring engine will most likely send out huge amount of emissions.

After reading all the postings about the subject, it seems that only the cars failing before 3 year 36K miles get it replaced for free, every one else have to pay for it.

I tried to search on the subject, but couldn't come up with any set rules.
