Can't have a successful car company without models to sell. They relied on the old 9-3/NG900 platform way too long and never expanded on it past a cabrio. Finally get a new platform and what do we get? More sedans which compete in the most aggressive part of the market.

By the time SAAB launches a 9-3 cabrio and other variants it may be too late. And where are the variants from the 9-5 platform?

SAAB missed the profitable SUV boat completely and lost the opportunity to gain profits and market share. Hell, even losers like Buick and Saturn have SUV's. And make lots of $$ doing so.

SAAB missed the profitable AWD boat completely and lost the opportunity to gain profits and market share. All of SAAB's natural competitors sell AWD versions of their vehicles. And make lots of $$ doing so.

There's no point in having slick advertising when you don't have the product to promote. Lowering prices is the last thing to do. It only shows desperation, not to mention a complete lack of imagination or business creativity. If SAAB dropped prices competitors would pick up the smell and go in for the kill. Wouldn't take much to kill off SAAB.

I've said it before here and I'll say it again - - SAAB has ONE more chance at this business. Screw up or mistime the market and they are GONE!!
