up on this site as one that almost never stops working without warning, 10 people would post how it did (or does). I met a guy on vacation last month ( retired professional pilot) who told a story of how his single engine Piper airplane had its crankshaft snap high over the Atlantic shoreline (obviously the engine stopped, and obviously he lived). I have to admit that all those cars I've seen stuck in the middle of the road on the expressway here over the last 30 years didn't just run out of gas (some did). Cars quit running for all sorts of reasons.
I agree they should fix it, but i think the percentages are not very high of those that die at low mileage, and at high mileage, everything dies.
