I have a 97 9000CSE and I rented a 9-5 for a weekend when my Jeeo was in the shop. Nice car, but very diluted with not nearly the road feel of the 9000 that I really enjoy. This 9-5 was only the Linear so maybe the Aero may give more response, but you can definately tell that GM has changed the feel of the car to be more comfortable and less of a drivers car. The power was nothing compared to my FPT, but still soft of quick. The 9-5 has quite an advatage when it comes to safety compared to the 9000 which is enough that I will probably go with a 9-5 Aero wagon next time, but my 97 9000CSE only has 70K, so it'll be a while.
