The saab interior is IMHO first class, with some outstanding features like the trick cupholder and the extensive wood trim. However if you operate the wiper or indicator stalks, they feel flimsy, plasticky and have a nasty click, compared to the solid and positive actioned audi items. Also the finish of the dashboard top plastic is hard and shiny compared to the soft and expensive matte look audi plastic.
However the saab seat ergonomics and leather quality are better, and the the whole thing is a less technical more approachable easy to operate kind of environment with big well labeled buttons and displays.
Fixing the two items above would be a $100 unit cost item, and with test drive impressions being so important the quality of things like door pulls, steering wheels, shifters etc is vital so Im surprised it hasnt been addressed.
