Hi!
To change lanes, or simply send the wipers on one wipe of the windsield, you just need to nudge the saab stalks lightly, hold there for three blinks, done! (Can be done with the tip of a finger, hand resting on center hub of wheel on hwy)
In the '00 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro I had, the hefty stalks needed to be engaged all the time, a pain in the ass when changing lanes as you then need to force it back into place since it doesn't click back to middle unless a more serious turn is completed. Or you could risk holding somewhat firmly between engaged and middle, sometimes resulting in a terrible sound, like sparks or eggs frying!
I too thought at first, oh my god, how flimsy the stalks are in saabs. But after having had 5 of them, I've understood the usefullness of this light "flimsyness" and have never heard of a stalk breaking or anything.
My thoughts!
Have fun
Richard
