If it didn't have that difficulty, the tool probably would have worked. The other downfall was not knowing the internal workings of the slave cylinder. I wouldn't have pressurized it while it was unbolted. Live and learn. And keep that "Oh, H#!!" smile on my face.
The good thing is that the parts car in the pick 'n' pull is up high so my back won't be quite as sore after the slave cyl is removed.
