To get another slave cylinder I went to a pick 'n' pull. It worked so easily in the parts cars that I tried. The pressure plate tool went right in and the pressure plates and slave cylinders pulled out just like they were supposed to.
I ended up sawing and drilling out the old slave cylinder. This process is a serious drag. And it leaves a lot of chips and filings everywhere where you don't want them. I just hope that I was able to get all of them out of the primary shaft seal. We'll see soon.
