The retaining pin is a standard item found just about any hardware store, auto parts store. A cotter pin is another name round some parts of the country. I've also heard "jesus" pin. Heck, you could put a bent finishing nail in there.

The torx screws - so long as they can tighten enough to do the job. Replacements are easy to find, maybe even an indie mechanic can find you a set. They're really just to hold the rotor flush with the hub when the wheel is off. You can get away with just one if necessary.

Brake pads rubbing against the rotor surface is normal. A set of calipers in good working order are designed to adjust so that pressure from the pads on the rotor isn't excessive when not in use. So long as the wheels spin freely. After a brake pad replacement, I've sometimes noticed more than normal pressure. But that pretty much goes away once the pads are used in an actual stopping situation. In other words, the caliper adjusted itself.
