get some advice from a car stereo place by just calling them. It is not always the most watts that sounds the best because a high current amp with lower watts can sometimes be better. Make sure you have a detachable face deck and the flashing red light. Makes it look like a car alarm. Do you know the power numbers on the decks your looking at? If you put the numbers up then maybe someone can tell you which one to get. If they sound the same go for the cheaper one and don't go for the extended warrantee crap since the deck doesn't cost enough to make it worth that. I spent $3200.00 on my car stereo so the extended 5 year warr was worth it and I have used it 3 times on different stuff that needed fixing since I push it hard. I've just got a $220.00 Kenwood deck but the Audio Control 9 volt pre-amp and the Fosgate 650 watt 6 channel make all the difference and the MB Quart speakers help a lot too.
Good luck and have fun with your music!
Best, KB.
