which i think is the correct approach.. i can see the logic in the grease option.. but as u say over time will it cause more problems than it solves.. this shouldnt be a problem anyway.. driven plates dont normally bind on the first motion shaft.. of course this shaft dosnt stop dead as soon as the clutch is depressed it does need time to come to a stop.. not allowing for this time is probably one of the main reasons for the reverse crunch.. so is having the engines revs too high and not making sure the car is totally stationary..
