Thanks... I ran the engine with valve cover off (oil does not taste too bad). Seriously, I put a stethiscope up to the valve cover and got much noise that increases as you get closer to the intake on 3rd piston. I guess I might roll in a timeing chain and also do a lifter replacement on the top cam shaft - If problems still persist, I will try doing the other lifters. I am about 25% shure it is 3rd piston - unless I have more than 1 lifter makeing the noise.
