I have a page on the net, but the site is temporarily down.
You take a piece of rubber fuel hose which has an inner diameter the same size as the outer diameter of the plastic line. You place the rubber hose over the line, clamp in a vise...or in your case you would have to use pliers to hold it tight. You then use a hammer to pound the banjo bolt back onto the plastic line.
I yanked an engine last year and forgot to un-hook one of the fuel lines, hence I busted the plastic line(boy was I irate). I followed the directions in a Saab service manual which shows the procedure, and was relieved it worked like a charm....good luck to you!
BTW...if the plastic is brittle, it MAY split when you try to pound the fitting back on.
