Hope to see a follow-up on Ari's advice. Sounds like your 92 needs a base tune - possibly not running at peak even with cold/warm engine (gradual power loss may have been insidious) - problems highlighted with the hotter episodes. Hopefully you've already done a thorough ck for vac leaks, etc. Suggested spark plug inspection, especially comparison between cylinders might reveal sticking injector and/or more. What plugs/heat range r u running and gap? Spark plug wires, cap, coil wire(s), can be checked at night for arcing, rev engine a bit, and can lightly mist with water.
You might run a DMM (in cockpit w/copilot monitoring) to your O2 sensor while driving, keeping it in closed loop, see if/how average voltage changes from hot to hotter engine.
Also could backprobe AMM at #5 to ck power supply is holding steady; could backprobe AMM at #3 or ECU #7 (both also with helper monitoring) for air/voltage flow to ECU; check AMM #1 ground to G7, visual inspection of AMM harness connector [as well as others] for corrosion/splaying, and/or V-drop wire(s), as is 2d unit.
See what happens during marked episodes.
