Thanks! I'm kinda looking forward to it and I am NOT afraid to get dirty (I'm a hairdresser, so under my nails I already look like a mechanic). I'll have to be on the look out of a Saab enthusiast or 2 in the area. I've already found the 'net to be a wealth of information. People are always surprised I even know how to drive a standard transmission. *shakes head* I've always thought I should be the kind of gal who can at least do minor troubleshooting/repairs. OK!!! Onward and upward, folks! You have a new recruit in the Saab Army!
I've been driving this 900 occasionally for a few years when I've gone home to visit the friend I bought it from. I'm disappointed I didn't get a little more time before things started falling apart, but I have had *so* much fun driving it that I am *not* ready to give up!!!
What do you recommend as far as tools go? Is there a good basic set or do I need to buy some stuff a la carte? Should I just go to a local parts place or get something online?? (I will now stop pestering everyone and go read the FAQ)
xoxo,
Amelia
