350 is a very respectable price for a new driver and oil seal.
(that is the oil seal being the c-companion flange rubber O ring)
your looking at 125 in parts and 125 in labor
and the miss match you found in the axle should be a half an inch difference, if so your tripod will ride on a new path, its only when you turn left that the tripod might find its way back into the old grove.
the smaller axle you found is being widely distributed from every where as the correct rebuilt axle for the c900
just a notion here,.. if you installed your own axles why not redo your own p/s driver and save the cost to the shop, you where already there only 8 bolts from removing the flange assembly from the car.
just a c-clip holds the driver to the flange, with it removed the driver slips right out.
