hard you drive your car, me personally i drive 90% on hwy all time with cruse i`d probably get 5 or more years out of my axels (boots,&joints), compared to if i drove down-town 90% of the time i`d be hard pressed to get 5years out of them, something would be bound to grow wrong, in splitting a boot tearing up an outter c.v. with wall the turning, not to forget busting up the inner driver with all the stop and go lights.
all one can do is not worry about it until something happens.
being you have the shafts sitting there, if it was me id take their measurements they should come up as 34 dd,... or wait no,
when the work of installing them starts the first one may take 3 to 8 hours being its never been done before, but the second one will be done in an hour.
it just knowing the procedure
the only daunting task i ran into was clamping the inner c.v. boot`s clamp. takes me at lest 10 to 20 minutes to get the boot aligned right and then to get the metal clamp around the boot, but im sure you`ll fly right through it
