I made something similar to that but I used it to reverse bleed the clutch (see pic). I actually put a bolt with a hole drilled down the center as my air nipple and connected a bicycle pump to it. I filled it with fluid and pumped it until the hose was full of fluid, then slipped a 13mm wrench over the hose and connected the hose to the bleeder nipple. Slid the wrench down the tube and opened the bleeder. Then pumped until I didn't see any bubbles coming up in the reservoir. Nice poor-man's set up.
This will also work as Larry had mentioned as a conventional bleeder.
Side note: cut the end of the hose in the bottom of the bottle at an angle so it bottoms out, but stays open.
