The clutch in the Classic 900 is hydraulic, so either your master cylinder, slave cylinder, or the hydraulic line in between has failed. The clutch gets its fluid from the brake reservoir, so look for a pool of brake fluid near the firewall (or worse, near the foot pedals) or in the front of the car (where the clutch is located. If it is the former, the likely culprit is the master cylinder. If it is located near the front of the car, then the slave cylinder or the rubber part of the clutch line is likely to blame. Failures of the rubber part of the line are somewhat common.
