These are 13 mm nuts/bolts, IIRC. whether they are a nut or bolt, seems debatable. They can be tough to get loose (break free). I very strongly recommend getting a brake line tool for this; these are basically closed end wrenches with a slot cut for the line to pass through that grip the bolt more tightly than your typical open end wrench.These engage 5 if the six points and all six sides of the nut.
If you shear off the points of these bolts, you will be in a world of hurt.
They are not hard to find - any Sears or a good auto parts store (eg NAPA, not necessarily autozone, but maybe). Here's a link to what they look like

Once you've broke the bolts free, they are easily turned (more quickly) with a traditional open ended wrench (do tie to your wrist with an 18" string as suggested earlier!).
