... the clutch...
The ONLY way I have found to get a good pedal after a clutch bleed is to use a PRESSURE bleed method. It can be done with nothing more than a bicycle valve in the top of a spare brake reservoir cap, or with one of the bleeder systems, like a Gunson or Motive Products bleeder. The latter apply pressure to an extra reservoir of brake fluid, so you greatly lessen the risk of blowing all your fluid through the system and introducing more air, and having to start all over again. They have a cap that replaces the reservoir cap, this has a line that goes to the other reservoir. The Gunson then uses tire pressure to push, the Motive you pump like a weed sprayer.
I tried a MityVac, but I could never get a seal good enough at the bleeder screw to prevent unwanted air from sneaking in and completely obliterating my ability to see if the bubbles were actually from the clutch or not.
