Are you talking about the vacuum actuated valve that allows air to bypass the turbo when no boost is needed (sometimes known as the "hooter" valve)? I'm having a similar problem (boost that jumps around under medium acceleration). Could this be caused by the bypass/hooter valve or the BPC? Also, what exactly does the BPC do?
Thanks!
