Too bad to hear that R134 is NOT an option, since>>

in the professional auto market it's the ONLY option worth mentioning.
You can find a wide variety of "blends". But that's also the only thing it is, "blends".
Some uses a mix of R12 and R134 others uses R22 and so forth.
Why not go to propane instead, some "experts" says it cools really good (until explosion).
All cars are gonna develop a leak sooner or later, and older cars will have new leaks pop up one after the other. That's just the nature of the auto A/C system with flex hoses and crimp connections.
Why not chose a cooling media that most people are familiar with and are able to service when times comes.
If you use something else than R12 or R134, you HAVE to tell the other shop or the other owner what it is, so they don't ruin their batch of pure R134 or R12, because all this different blends don't mix with Virgin freon.
