kids just don't know how to control the need for speed (or so to speak!).
I know for sure that if I had had a powerful car when I was young I would not be around to hang out on TSN.

The downside of generally capable cars like Saabs is that you can go fast so easily that if you lose it, the added speed makes it much harder to recover and keep from getting things bent. It requires skill well beyond the average young driver. There's nothing wrong with putting a kid in a Saab--it can keep them alive--but I do question a turbo Saab (or any performance car) in younger hands.
