Question. I think the car will be sitting for a couple of weeks, and probably with everything removed. I'm gonna have the head sent out to be machined and will be ordering some high performance springs from Swedish Dynamics. But to get those will have to wait until I get my check. So everything will be open. If the tensioner were to be left alone, unstressed, would it pop out (like a caliper piston) or could it be recompressed to be reused?
