The stud intact and not broken off inside the head. The studs that are on the car are apparently replacement arp studs with an external torx on the tip of the stud. the stud can be started but not torqued down. Threads are definitley stripped. I removed the stud and its fine. Think there might be enough room? I'm going to have to drive it for the time being at some point this week but just wondering if a work around could be done in the meantime....such as rtv silicon or threadlocker to sort of "seal" it in place.
I know that many people have broken studs and a missing one in theory causes the same symptom. Just sort of wondering how worried about it I should be.
