Saab vs. Hyundai reliability

No surprise.
When running, Saabs are very fun, even exhilerating.
But reliability, especially for mid-eighties to early nineties models
is, IMHO, questionable.
I will not buy a Saab again, as parts are way too expensive, the car
is a pain to work on and now, I just wouldn't trust the car on any trip
beyond 100 miles. We'll take our 1993 Sable (108kmi) instead.
As soon as the rain and cold hit here, in the Bay Area, my 9000T (1986)
went haywire: losing charge, slow wipers, intermittent flashing of that "bulb icon" (on dash), cold-start issues - JUST LIKE MY 1976 AND 1970 FIATS!
The best thing about Saabs are the engine, interior layout, steering
and the suspension. Everything else, including the ignition and electrical
systems, transmissions (manual and auto) is below average.
Regards
Steve
