Oh man! You're way ahead of me!! Do you have the curling iron option as well???
I suppose it could be a weak connection. Easy enough to clean and tighten.
Do you make a habit of "rolling your fuses"? The fuses tend to corrode and I roll mine every oil change. My 96 started having a slight alternator light glow a few weeks ago and I had it in my mind that it was crapping out. I happened to roll the fuses and it went out!
Which also reminds me- is your alternator light working? Does it come on orange when you turn on the ignition?? That little guy MUST be working properly....
Is your fan belt too loose? I always tell people to not overtighten it, as it puts big strain on the front balance shaft bearings... But check the fan belt.
A voltage test would tell alot.
