by local regulations. Almost NO place allows you to dump it into the gutter or the storm drain etc. Some places allow you to dump it down the toilet/sewer line. Some places have special locations set up that will take your "hazzardous materials". This is the option where I live. You try to collect as much coolant as you can (A plastic bag works well!) put it into old gallon containers and take it to the Hazzardous Material recycling center when you do a big trip. I disposed of Coolant, Oil, Paint Cans, etc. in such trips. The problem is that there is no easy way to drain the coolant without making a royal mess. This is where Dean's Shop Vac method comes in handy, but I dont have a shop vac.
