but you dry the car off with a towel? Isn't that BAD? I thought soap helped carry off the dirt (even the dirt you can't see). If you don't do that and you dry the car with a towel, you are just rubbing that dirt in with the towel and scratching the paint.
You should definitely use mild soap to clean the car and wax at least once a year. Maybe use a California water blade or an absorber to dry the car, since they don't seem to scratch the paint like a towel can.
