I sent some E-mails to ARP asking if they could do some testing on the different bolts I have but didn't hear anything back from them about that.

I did find out that they don't have a traditional bolt for the Saab engine but have a stud and nut instead.

The problem with using a stud and nut is that you have to place the cylinder head on the engine and then insert the stud and torque it down into the engine block.
You can't insert the studs first due to the design of the timing chain guides that won't allow the head to slide down over the studs and guide at the same time.

The price also was not attractive for a regular user. I guess for someone "souping up" his Saab it could be worth it.

As of now I just use the "old style" bolts that I found as long as I can get them and after that we'll see.
