Ok, good so you have found the relay and it is the correct one.
Instead of listen for the fuel pump, hook a test light up to the proper wire to be sure of power function.
The 900 does not always prime as the 9-3 and 9-5 does so you might not have a power signal until you actually crank over the engine.
So focusing on, that you do not have power to fuel pump during cranking. Keep the fuel pump relay in place and as I mentioned, check for power during cranking at green/red wire (pin 86) and orange wire (pin 30) at relay.
If you have power at each pin during cranking, the supply to fuel pump relay is good.
Next, you need to hook your test light to positive power on battery and check for ground signal at yellow/grey wire (pin 85). If test light does not illuminate during cranking, the ground signal is missing from alarm unit and it gets a little bit more complicated with that.
