The beauty of having 10' of pipe...Maybe I'll do a swap and try out the flare. The c900 people have the same issue as the 9-5 but worse as it draws from the mostly closed off wheelwell.
Doesn't the stock air box pose a major turbulence as well with its square shape? The air enters the air box hits a staight 90 degree wall then forces it upwards and another 90 degree bend to the outlet totalling 180 degree turn. That is why the panel only gets dirty at the back end of the filter. This sure seems problematic to me. The Speedparts design would at least eliminate that problem but it has other problems to deal with.
So what is worse, the stock air box or multiple bends to duct the cold air up and over and down to the turbo?
