I guess I'm an old timer (53) but when I think "sports car" I think "1500 pounds, two seats, 4 cylinders, nimble, tight steering, responsive controls, no frills...". Times have changed. Doing advance research for my mid-life crisis, the only thing I find that comes close is the Lotus Elise/Exige at around 2000 lb. curb weight (and which I don't want to pay for unless I find a good used one). Next up is the Miata at about 2500 lb. Almost everything else out there is a 3000+ pound tank. Almost as heavy as my 9-5! Am I missing any good ones I should be looking at?
