Boost Gauge installed, coments inside>

Hey every one, well I just finished installing the VDO boost gauge that I got from SAS. I was really interested in knowing what my PSI would be since the cars factory gauge would sometimes hit 1/3 into the "RED ZONE"
The results were:
At idle the vacuum side of gauge reads 16-18 Hg
1st gear gives = NO BOOST
2nd gear gives = 5-6 psi of boost
3rd gear gives = 11-12 psi of boost steadily(stock gauge reading beginning of "RED ZONE") and spikes up to 14-15 psi
4th gear gives = 10-11 psi of boost
5th gear gives = I haven't tried to get that far yet......
NOTE: This was with about 3-4 gallons of 87 Octane in the tank.
I'm sure that 91-92 Octane would give better results, perhaps 1 more psi added to each number above.
Overall I'm impressed with the numbers. I really thought that I would have been more to say 15-16 psi as that's my goal.
All ignition items are less than 1 yrs old or say 6-8K miles.
These are my mods:
Stage #1 APC
2.8 FPR
27 LBS injectors
Big Bore T-Body
K&N Open Filter
Magnecore wires 8mm
Silicone wires
And one more thing that I can't remember right now....
