I don't know why NO BOOST in 1st. What happens when I step on it is this: The gauge will be sitting at say 16-18 HG Vacuum, then will rise (move right) towards the boost side but, at most will stick right around 6-8 HG Vacuum. It never gets to the ZERO mark on gauge or moves into the bOOST part of the gauge. In second gear though it will reach into the boost side of gauge and hit about 6-8 psi. The outside temp is mid 50's so, I know it's cool enough.
Another point is that I never hold it til it reaches say 5,500 rpms or redline if that's what we're talking about. I simply hold it to about 4,000 rpms and then I shift up to the next higher gear. Am I driving it wrong?
That's what I thought about the max psi for stock being say 11-12 psi. That's whay when I saw my gauge reading this I thought it was od cause like you I do think I should be hiting at least 15-16 and holding it there. I can't get though. I'm kinda puzzled about it more now than before.
I will search the BB and look for the Base Boost stuff, and will wheck it tomorrow and set waste gate as needed..
Thanks, Aaron...
Phil
