The c900 ABS was a 'first generation' type of system. Pedal feel is much different. I much prefer my non-ABS 88 SPG's pedal feel to that of my ABS 90 SPG winter beater. For that reason alone, I would avoid ABS on a race car.
The non-ABS feels much more natural, more progression in the pedal. The ABS feels like it has half the travel.
But it's a personal preference thing I guess.
