I did not mean to let you beleive I thought someone can modulate the brake pedal on/off quicker then a ABS computer. However a person can push the car closer to the tires limit then a computer, the pulsating the brakes leads to longer stopping.
If I recall this post was about someone wanting to use a car for rallycross, rally etc. Brake bias is usually used to allow the driver to dial in the car for the track ahead & a non abs car is what should be used. Even a friend of mine who raced in the Speedvision world challenge (Dave Schardt) prefers non-abs in track situation. ABS systems was actually the topic at the last BMW drivers school I attended as well, the instructor stated ABS is better for the street but non abs for the track.
