why do no race cars have ABS be it F1, WRC, cart, etc?
A good driver will be able to use the cars brakes better w/o the aid of computers & it will result in a shorter distance, there have been many tests on this. However for street use my guess is 90+% of people are MUCH better off with ABS!
For a dedicated rally car, one needs to be able to lock up the brakes on occasion to setup for turns etc, ABS wouldn't allow this to happen
