Should Saab withdraw from the US market?

A serious question. In 1999, Saab introduced a new body style and a new Vauxhall based asymmetrically turbocharged V6. The combination was very appealing and nicely priced in the US market. Sales increased significantly. Since then Saab has done nothing with the V6 and has made minor (thank goodness!!) cosmetic changes to the body style. Sales have languished. Saab has made several changes to the 4 cylinder which have enhanced it's marketability in Europe but are not appealing to most US buyers in its price range and have done very little for US sales. If Saab is not willing or not able to do what is necessary to increase US sales, perhaps it should withdraw from the US and concentrate on the European market.
