Saab 95 wagon - 6K mile impression (long winded..)

FYI..have owned my 2001 laser red 95 Wagon (base, auto) for 6 months now and wanted to share some impressions. As background I've owned Volvos and VW's in the past, as well as a behomoth Ford Expedition for wife and kids.....
1) Performance - overall above average - for 85% of everyday driving acceleration is fine. turbo does seem to degrade when it's above 80 or when AC is on.
2) Handling - as others have pointed out, fairly crisp but steering is light and more than expected body lean - not too much - but my impression is that it would be a tighter handling car. This car is very stable at high speed. It is made to be driven at 75-100MPH. The fastest I've had it was 102MPH on I-95 - I felt very confident that the car was in control and stable.
3) Exterior - laser red color is fabulous. paint quality is not there - it chips VERY easily. In fact, I have more chips in this 6 month old car than in my Ford Expedition that I owned for 3 years....it's a sad commentary for a $30K+ car.
4) Interior - Seats are OK, actually quite comfortable but you need to get used to the seats. I finds the seats in my Volvo superior to the Saab. Dash and controls are perfect - I like the wrap around design compared to the "open cockpits" of other cars. My preference.... Carpeting...seems really thin and cheap...my VW Jetta had better carpeting....but maybe it's a perception. I've seen some 2-3 year old Saab's where the carpeting looks fine so maybe the fibers they use are durable.
5) Sound Level - quiet 4cyl - much quieter than a Honda Accord 4cyl VTEC that I recently test drove. Tires are noisy though. Also, have the dreaded fuel tank "thump" - no big deal though...
Overall I'm pleased with the car. It was the right purchase decision for my family - it's my wife's car. With 2 kids we don't need an SUV, nor a minivan.
