SAAB USA just does very little to push sales
with better meagins.

a) They didn't come up with an official SAAB USA tunning partner.
b) They removed some base versions of the car as they believe
that this will sell more premium ones.
c) They also do very little to please their customers when
it comes to interior design preferences.

So here is my advice to SAAB USA.

a) Just strike a deal with Hirsch Switzerland to use
and adapt their engine upgrades and interior enhancements,
as "Hirsch" does not sound good in English come up with
an alternate name for this official SAAB tunning line.
ie. SAAB Performance...

b) Introduce some basic versions with big engines, special
looks with only those options that are needed for some
sporty 3dr 9-3s less expensive then the Viggen.
Simple to do... get base 150Hp 9-3s, put in Hirsch leather
and the Hirsch 210Hp upgrade and some nice alloys, but
no sunroof and minus a few other expensive options.
Do the same with a 5dr version and sell em in only
3 colors RED BLACK SILVER.

c) Give buyers of new 9-5s a choice in interior dashes.
Costs little and will get more customers.

SAAB USA just needs to be creative and they need to add
a few official head turners to their product line
which people can afford.

If I was SAAB USA I would ship over a bunch of US spec SAABs
to Hirsch, mod them and then show em to my dealer network
in the USA. I am convinced that many of the dealers would
say... "When will we get them on our lot?"

To sell stuff, you need stuff to sell and that's what SAAB USA
is lacking right now.

Regards,
Coolknight
