Won't vol "24" setting overheat the stereo? mlc...It sounds like you know what you are talking about. I appreciate the response.
I did set the vol to 24 and it did help some. I was afraid to leave it there because I saw some posts from a month or so ago indicating that causes excessive heat. Is that so?
I listen to mostly '70's and '80's rock (tending toward punk and new wave...no criticisms please) and the issue I have is the crispness that you described. If you think it's okay to leave the vol at 24 then I'll try that for a while and see if my ears adjust. Thanks!
